Die Melodic-Rock-Legenden und NWoBHM-Veteranen von PRAYING MANTIS verdanken einen Großteil ihres Erfolges ihren treuen japanischen Fans und waren auch oft für Auftritte im Land der aufgehenden Sonnen zu Gast. So zeigen sich die Briten sehr betroffen über die dortigen Ereignisse und wollen zusammen mit den MANTIS-Fans ihren Teil dazu beitragen, das Leid in Japan zu lindern:
"Without our Japanese fans, we would have no 30th Anniversary. We have been monitoring the news of the Japanese tragedy with great sadness. We are all lost for words and we pray for all the people of Japan."
Daher hat die Band ihre aktuelle Klassikerneueinspielung "Children Of The Earth 2011" zum kostenpflichtigen Download bereit gestellt. Der Erlös soll vollständig dem Red Cross Tsunami Appeal gespendet werden. Wie ihr mithelfen könnt, erfahrt ihr auf der Homepage der Band. Insbesondere könnt ihr den Song bei CD-Baby und bald auch bei iTunes kaufen und dadurch euren Teil zur Rettung von Menschen und zum Wiederaufbau in Japan beitragen:
