Wenn düstere Gestalten in fantasievoll gestylten Outfits für vier Tage durch Leipzig pilgern, dann kann es eigentlich nur Pfingsten sein. Zum mittlerweile 17. Mal, wird die Messestadt zum Wallfahrtsort für tausende von Schwarzkittel aus der ganzen Welt. Friedlich, stimmungsvoll und mit jeder Menge Musik in den Ohren, feiern junge und alte Goths sich und die Szene. Seit Jahren steht dieses ganz besondere Festival, bei der etliche Locations quer durch die Stadt verteilt sind, für musikalische Leckerbissen, große Stars, aufstrebende Newcomer und kleine Insidertipps. Von Electro bis Metal ist für jeden was dabei.
Das Wave-Gotik-Treffen findet in diesem Jahr vom 09. bis 12. Mai statt. Tickets gibt es an alle bekannten Vorverkaufsstellen für 58€. Das auf 9999 Stück limitiere Obsorge-Ticket, was zur Nutzung des Zeltplatzes berechtigt, kostet dann noch einmal 21€. Dafür gibt es dann aber auch die Festival-CD und das Festivalprogrammbuch obendrauf.
